A little background
MY NAME IS JOHN TING.
This website is about me and my business.
Many would not know about Prestige Estate Management and JT Consulting Services. Both companies were run by me, and my background as a Banker had in fact, took me to where I am today.
I started in Kuching as a young bank officer with Oriental Bank in Abell Road in 1993 and then in year 2000, Oriental Bank merged with EON Bank Berhad. I continued with EON Bank as a senior Officer and later in 2009, I was recruited by Borneo Housing Mortgage Finance Bhd, which is an entity owned by the Sarawak Government to become the Branch Manager in Sarawak. I worked with Borneo Housing Mortgage Finance for 11 years and finally retired in 2021.
Being in the banking and finance industry, the experience in mortgage and lending taught me a lot when in later years, I set up consulting and Prestige Estate Management as clients seek property and financing, and I was able to help.
My journey in property management started in January 2022 after I worked in management role with a property developer, Sendayan Properties Sdn Bhd for a year. I am proud to saythat as a banker for about 30 years, I had earned my respect among customers and I stand for my integrity. A banker must be known for his integrity and record of honesty. Over a short period of 2 years, I went for strata management seminars and managed two housing estates under strata development and were the first JMB in Kuching.
Thus, in Prestige Estate Management, we aspire to serve the community living in a strata environment especially, the Joint management Body or the management Corporationprofessionally..
